Why OrthoPets is the Industry Leader!

OrthoPets Qualified Staff

Megan - Operations Manager - Virtual Clinic

Megan started volunteering at vet clinics when she was 12 years old. She has been working in vet clinics ever since. Megan became part of the OrthoPets Team in February, 2009. Megan's dog, Zoe, was a patient before she was an employee. In her free time, Megan loves to play with her daughter, spend time with her family, and play softball.

Dusty - Certified Veterinary Technician

Dusty graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology in 2006. She is the certified veterinary technician for Denver and services OrthoPets virtual patients too. "An animal's eyes have the power to speak a great language."

Michelle - Certified Veterinary Technician

Michelle, aka horse lover, was born and raised in Denver, CO. She has worked as a vet technician for the last 12 years. She is the head vet tech for Dr. Patsy Mich, for OrthoPets Center for Pain Management and Mobility Solutions. In Michelle's spare time, she enjoys taking care of her two dogs, 4 cats, and 2 guinea pigs.

Erin - AAS, BS

Erin graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology. After working as a Certified Veterinary Technician, she observed the need for animal specific design. This inspired her to return to school and study Industrial Design at Metro State College. Combining her veterinary studies into the program, Erin created an Individualized Degree with an emphasis on Pet Product Design. Erin heads the Research and Design Department at OrthoPets.

Ron - Technician

Ron was born and raised in Colorado. When he's not working, he enjoys anything that involves the outdoors, hanging out with friends and family, or just laying around the house and watching T.V. He started working a few days a week at OrthoPets in February, 2010 and was eventually hired on full time. This was a big change for Ron after being in the auto industry for the past 20 years. Martin and his co-workers have taught him so much about an industry he never knew existed, and there is still plenty more to learn! Ron says the best part about this job is the wagging tails, and the smiles on clients' faces when they see their family member get a new lease on life.

Diego - Technician

Diego has enjoyed working at OrthoPets for five years now. He specializes in making prosthetic and orthotic solutions for their animal patients. He's currently attending college for mechanical engineering because he enjoys working with his hands, to creatively solve challenging and complex problems.

Josh - Lab Monkey (Technician)

Bringing knowledge from the world of human orthotics, Josh specializes in the modification of stifle braces. When he's not making messes in the plaster room, Josh can be found playing various styles of music on both the electric and upright bass. He also enjoys kitty cats, long drives in the mountains, and contemplating basic world domination.

Taber - Technician

Tabor does whatever is needed in fabrication to get the work done. This includes but is not limited to: sewing straps, grinding, cut lines on braces, cutting out braces from plaster molds, grinding foam gluing foam, assembling hinges and buckles, and drilling holes of multiple sizes. Tabor worked in the human field of Orthotics for 7 years in Denver. He works, and sleeps occasionally when he has time.

In his alter ego as "Nick Burns" - Company Computer Guy, he fixes computers around the company and applies the proper settings to individual components of digital machinery so that the interface between the human components and the digital components run the least amount of syntax and operator error as possible. In his spare time, he enjoys going to Alan Parsons Project Tribute band concerts and playing the most advanced computer games currently on the market.
