Meet Axel and his OrthoPets Prosthetic Device

Axel is a 3 year old hound mix who was found in Alaska abandoned with severe trauma to both hind limbs. Axel was taken in for evaluation to Dr. Kuo of the VCA Beiring Sea Animal Hospital. The vet clinic contacted the Alaska Puppy Dog Rescue and OrthoPets and we were able to get him fitted with new bilateral prostheses. Axel has now been adopted by one of the veterinarians at the clinic and he is loving his mobility!
